Odd, quiet film about teenagers growing up in a new, somewhat manufactured town. Characters range from violent troublemakers to the skinlessly sensitive, confronted with sex, drugs, work, school, too little to do and the nagging idea that there\\\'s something they *ought* to be doing. 
The plot has a lot of loose ends. On the other hand, the film doesn\\\'t moralize either. It\\\'s more of a \\\"Here are some things that happened, think what you want of it\\\" than \\\"Here are some Big Conflicts and What You Should Learn From Them.\\\"
John Simm is excellent as usual, playing the man in the middle of several crazy situations.
